The website linked to above is great at showing what types of assistance are available but you will still need an excellent, reliable and experienced loan officer to put everything together for you. For the years that I have been in real estate, I have met many wonderful loan officers and learned about many of the different lenders. Of all of the loan officers and lenders, I have compiled the top 3 absolute best, no one works harder, has greater flexibility or such a wealth of knowledge as these people do.
